India, July 7 -- Belgium will be without their star midfielder Amadou Onana for the rest of the FIFA World Cup 2026 after his gruesome injury during the Round of 16 clash against the USA. He suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture in an unfortunate collision with USMNT winger Cristian Pulisic. The Belgian international, visibly in pain, immediately collapsed on the pitch holding his knee. He tried to continue after first aid, but was forced to be taken off early in the first half.
