India, Aug. 10 -- Alabama U.S. Senate Special Primary Election 2026: The voters from State Senate Districts 25 and 26 in Alabama will cast their ballots in a special primary election on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. The races were called into order due to the federal court ruling, which invalidated the current 2021 district map in Alabama. Therefore, the state governor, Kay Ivey ordered another special primary to take place. It is worth noting that it is not a U.S. Senate election since no senators are running, but these races are gaining interest because it will decide who the nominees will be for the state Senate seats from both parties and there are more than 7,000 registered voters in the two districts.
