India, Sept. 15 -- India took a 1-0 lead in the series after comfortably defeating Afghanistan in the first T20I. Afghanistan were restricted to 156, which India chased down convincingly. The visitors now need a victory in the second match to keep the three-match series alive.

Afghanistan have struggled against India across formats this year, having also lost the one-off Test and three-match ODI series. They will now be desperate to produce a stronger performance in Delhi, particularly with their batting unit needing to score more efficiently on a flat surface with short boundaries.
