India, Nov. 8 -- Las Vegas Raiders safety Jeremy Chinn has reportedly been fined $17,911 by the NFL for his hit on New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson during their Week 8 meeting.

The incident occurred in the closing seconds of the Raiders' 38-33 victory on November 1, and Wilson subsequently entered concussion protocol and was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported the fine. Chinn had already been penalised for unnecessary roughness during the game, but the NFL's postgame disciplinary process has brought an additional financial consequence.
