India, Sept. 24 -- The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards are set to bring some major names back to the VMAs stage, with Madonna returning for her first performance at the ceremony in 23 years and Snoop Dogg taking on hosting duties. The show is also heading back to Los Angeles for the first time since 2017.

Taylor Swift is another major name to watch this year. Along with receiving the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors, she enters the ceremony with nine nominations. Madonna leads the nominations with 11.
