India, Sept. 15 -- The 78th Emmy Awards took place on September 14, 2026, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, with Mariska Hargitay hosting the ceremony. The night delivered major victories for Widow's Bay, The Pitt, Pluribus and Hacks, while several heavily nominated shows and stars went home without major wins.

The Pitt entered the ceremony as the most-nominated programme with 25 nominations, followed by Hacks with 24, Widow's Bay with 19 and Pluribus with 18.
