India, Oct. 10 -- Laos international Soukphachan Lueanthala has reportedly been arrested over suspected match-fixing during the 2026 ASEAN Championship, also known as the AFF Championship or ASEAN Hyundai Cup. The winger, who plays for Salavan United in Laos, is alleged to have helped coordinate a match-manipulation scheme involving a betting syndicate believed to be operating out of Vietnam. The allegations reportedly include bribery and illegal gambling, prompting the Lao Football Federation (LFF) to refer the suspected activity to the authorities.
