The 15-year-old achieved the feat while representing East Zone against Central Zone in the 2026 semifinal in Bengaluru on Monday, reaching his fifty in just 42 balls with a six. At 15 years and 175 days, he surpassed Laxman Singh's 57-year-old record, set back in 1969, to create a new age record in the prestigious domestic tournament.
