India, June 9 -- In yet another jolt to the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress, Lok Sabha MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar stated that her head may be severed, but it will not bow down. In a fresh attack, the rebel MP from Barasat emphasized that she did not join the party after Mamata Banerjee became the Chief Minister in 2011, noting that she has been fighting on the ground for 40 years. This scathing criticism comes after Kakoli Ghosh, along with a majority of TMC Lok Sabha MPs, expressed their support for the BJP-led NDA and held high-level strategy meetings with the BJP leadership.
