India, May 28 -- The criminal investigation into the tragic 2023 overdose death of Friends star Matthew Perry reached a definitive conclusion on Wednesday as his live-in personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison.
Iwamasa, who had served as the actor's trusted aide since 2022, stood at the centre of an illicit drug supply chain, admitting to injecting Perry with the fatal dose of ketamine that claimed his life.
