US, Oct. 13 -- Acclaimed filmmaker Mira Nair will receive the prestigious Film & Beyond Award at the 32nd Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF), recognizing her distinguished career and contributions to international cinema.

The festival, scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 8, 2026, will feature Nair as its guest of honor. The award celebrates interdisciplinary artists whose work has made a lasting impact across creative fields.

The festival will screen a selection of her iconic works, including 'Mississippi Masala' (1991), 'Monsoon Wedding' (2001), 'The Namesake' (2006), 'A Suitable Boy' (2020), and 'Salaam Bombay!' (1988).
