US, May 16 -- Eighteen years ago this week, I had the distinct honor of assuming the presidency of Xavier University School of Medicine with a clear and purposeful vision: to provide high-quality, accessible medical education that empowers students to serve communities across the globe. It has been a privilege to work alongside our dedicated faculty and staff in preparing physicians who are making meaningful contributions worldwide.
