India, March 24 -- The Oscar-nominated film 'The Voice Of Hind Rajab' may not see a theatrical release in India after reportedly being denied certification by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), according to a new report.

The film, directed by Kaouther Ben Hania, was scheduled to arrive in Indian cinemas this month. However, its distributor Manoj Nandwana told Variety that the certification process hit a roadblock, preventing its release. He claimed that concerns were raised by the board regarding the film's potential diplomatic implications.
