Srinagar, April 30 -- The weather across Jammu and Kashmir is expected to improve slightly on April 30 with partly cloudy skies and isolated spells of light rain, while another wet spell is likely between May 3 and 5, the Meteorological Department said on Wednesday.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience largely dry conditions on May 1 and 2, although brief, isolated showers cannot be ruled out in some areas.

However, the MeT department has forecast a fresh spell of generally cloudy weather accompanied by light rain and thundershowers at scattered to many places between May 3 and 5.
