Jammu, July 31 -- Indian Railways has marked a first by transporting a live donor heart via train, using the Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express to move the organ from Surat to Ahmedabad. A specially arranged Green Corridor allowed the heart to reach hospital in time for a successful transplant, underlining the railway network's expanding contribution to emergency medical response.
