Srinagar, May 4 -- Residents of Jammu and Kashmir can expect a brief spell of unsettled weather before conditions stabilize later this week, according to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.

The weather office has predicted generally cloudy skies across most parts of the Union Territory on Sunday, with one or two spells of light to moderate rain or thundershowers. Thunderstorms, hailstorm activity, and gusty winds with speeds of up to 40-50 kmph are likely at a few places, particularly across Kashmir and parts of Jammu.

On May 5, the region may continue to witness brief spells of light rain and thundershowers at scattered locations, mainly during the afternoon hours.
