Jammu, July 21 -- Domestic tourist visits declined 23%, foreign tourist visits down 44.62% in 2025

Jammu Tawi, Jul 20: The Central Government on Monday informed the Lok Sabha that tourism employment in Jammu and Kashmir has increased from an estimated 10.42 lakh in 2021-22 to 10.78 lakh in 2025, while reiterating that the identification, development and promotion of tourism destinations remain a continuous process undertaken primarily by the Union Territory Administration with support from the Ministry of Tourism.
