India, March 20 -- A new political battle has begun in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) ahead of the upcoming second half of the Assembly session as the political parties here have pulled up their socks before the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) to keep their vote bank intact as also to bring more voters in their party.
The SIR in the UT of J&K is most likely to be held next month. The J&K unit of the BJP has deputed all its office bearers and other top leaders to all the 20 districts of J&K to make the people aware about SIR, keeping in view that its core vote bank remains intact besides bringing more people into the party ahead of the SIR exercise.
