India, March 29 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday asserted that while the BJP government has successfully stopped infiltration into Assam over the past decade, this alone is "not enough," and every illegal immigrant must be sent back to their country.
Addressing a poll rally in the Dhekiajuli assembly constituency of Sonitpur, Shah accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of opposing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in several states to "protect infiltrators."
