Jammu Tawi, Aug. 6 -- Rainfall lashed several parts of the Kashmir Valley on Wednesday, while a cloudburst was reported in south Kashmir's Kulgam district, prompting authorities to remain on alert amid forecasts of more rain over the coming days.
According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, light to moderate rainfall was recorded across parts of Jammu and Kashmir during the past 24 hours, with significant precipitation in the Jammu region. Kathua received 81 mm of rain, followed by Udhampur 66.6 mm, Katra 51 mm and Samba 47 mm.
