Jammu, Sept. 12 -- The decision taken by the Jammu and Kashmir Government to invite suggestions and objections from the public and stakeholders on the proposed amendments to the Unified Building Bye-Laws, 2021 is an innovative and appreciable step. Building rules have a direct impact on urban life and it is the public and other concerned stakeholders who can guide the government as they have basic knowledge of ground realities with regard to construction of homes and shops, parking spots, roads, safety and planned development.
