SRINAGAR, Aug. 10 -- Police on Sunday carried out searches at 26 locations allegedly linked to the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) group across Sopore police district as part of an investigation into a case registered against it under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

A police spokesperson said that "incriminating" documents, literature and electronic devices were recovered and seized from various premises during the searches in Sopore.
