New Delhi, July 9 -- Brazilian President Inacio Lula da Silva today conferred on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the 'Grand Collar of the National Order of the Southern Cross'- Brazil's highest civilian honour.

Accepting the honour, PM Modi expressed his gratitude to the government and people of Brazil and dedicated it to the deep rooted bilateral ties.
