Jammu Tawi, May 23 -- In a major step towards providing world-class facilities to passengers and strengthening financial self-reliance, Jammu Division of Northern Railway has launched several new commercial initiatives under the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Uchit Singhal.
According to a statement issued, the initiatives aim to enhance passenger convenience while generating non-fare revenue for Indian Railways through a transparent digital e-auction system.
As part of the initiative, Jammu Division has awarded key commercial contracts through the e-auction platform to ensure transparency and modernization in railway services.
