Jammu, July 16 -- Directs medical colleges to admit students only against approved seats
Jammu Tawi, Jul 15: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the MBBS Seat Matrix for the 2026-27 academic session, directing all medical colleges across the country to ensure admissions are made strictly against the number of seats approved by the Commission.
In an official communication issued by NMC Secretary Dr Raghav Langer, the Commission informed Directors, Principals and Deans of all medical colleges that had submitted applications under the NMC public notice dated December 22, 2025, as well as the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), about the approved undergraduate seat matrix for the upcoming academic year.
