Jammu, April 26 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday attended 'Naman Diwas', an event dedicated to honour organ donors and their families, and called them "true heroes" for giving the gift of life.

Expressing gratitude, the Lieutenant Governor said organ donors have transformed countless lives. "No award can truly capture the value of your gift," he said, highlighting how donations restore sight, hope, and dignity.

Addressing families of cornea and kidney donors, he emphasised that organ donation is among the noblest acts and a true measure of humanity lies in what one gives rather than accumulates.
