India, Aug. 12 -- A landslide on Tuesday blocked the Jammu-Rajouri National Highway, disrupting traffic flow and leaving vehicles stranded on both sides.

Authorities quickly deployed machinery and manpower to the site, initiating restoration work to remove debris and reopen the crucial route. Officials said clearance efforts are ongoing, with traffic expected to resume once the road is declared safe.

The landslide, triggered by recent rains, has highlighted the vulnerability of the region's hilly terrain to weather-induced disruptions, impacting commuters and transporters alike.
