JAMMU TAWI, June 4 -- The Jammu Municipal Corporation has formulated a comprehensive sanitation plan to maintain cleanliness along major roads, market areas, pilgrimage routes and public spaces during the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026. To strengthen mechanized cleaning operations, a fleet of specialized sanitation vehicles has been deployed across the city.
The fleet includes three compact road-sweeping machines that vacuum litter, dust and other waste materials directly from road surfaces. These machines are particularly effective in cleaning narrow stretches and urban roads.
