Jammu Tawi, July 9 -- Two alleged breach of privilege cases involving the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Chadoora, Budgam and Abdul Majeed Rather, the then Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Ganderbal, now Deputy Secretary, J&K BOPEE, were examined by the Committee on Privileges of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly at a meeting chaired by Justice (Retd.) Hasnain Masoodi on Tuesday.

Both officers were summoned and heard separately.

In the case relating to the former ACD, it was stated that the dispute had arisen over the preparation of the MGNREGA works list, in which certain works recommended by an MLA could not be included.
