India, Oct. 28 -- A day after the cabinet expansion, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday assigned charge of departments to ministers.



Chief Minister Omar Abdullah - all departments and subjects that were not explicitly assigned to other ministers remain under the direct purview of the Chief Minister.



According to details, Javid Ahmad Dar has been appointed as finance minister of J&K. Apart from retaining Agriculture Production & Cooperatives departments, Dar has been handed over Finance and Mining departments.



Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary has retained Roads & Buildings Department, Industries & Commerce department, Labour & Employment, Skill Development Department but the key Mining Department has be...
