Jammu Tawi, Sept. 11 -- In coming three years, Jammu and Kashmir will likely require nearly additional 450 Megawatts (MWs) of power during the peak hours.
According to the official documents, authorities have projected that in the ongoing fiscal, Jammu and Kashmir will have a peak demand of 3813 MWs.
It also said that in the coming fiscal 2027-28, the region is likely to require additional 151 MWs of power during the peak time with a total demand projection of 3964 MWs.
Furthermore, the projections said that in the year 2028-29, Jammu and Kashmir may require additional 300 MWs of power during the peak hours in comparison to the projected demand of the ongoing fiscal.
