Jammu Tawi, Aug. 12 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has submitted proposals to the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the creation of more than 300 additional postgraduate medical seats.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration informed the Department-related Standing Committee on Home Affairs that it has submitted proposals to the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the creation of more than 300 additional postgraduate medical seats.

During its study tour of Jammu and Kashmir in May this, the committee, was informed that 120 additional postgraduate seats had already been created across Government Medical Colleges, including those located in remote districts.
