SRINAGAR, Aug. 19 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said Jammu and Kashmir's issues have to be resolved by the Centre and not Washington, ahead of the scheduled visit of US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor to Srinagar.

Gor, who is also the Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, is scheduled to arrive in Srinagar on Wednesday afternoon, spend the night in the city and leave for Ladakh on Thursday. His visit will include a meeting with Omar, marking the first meeting between a serving US ambassador and a sitting Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister in more than 15 years.
