Srinagar, Aug. 8 -- Jammu and Kashmir received an allocation of Rs 173.44 crore under the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) over the last five years, while Ladakh was allocated Rs 21.81 crore, according to data presented by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the Lok Sabha.
The annual allocation for J&K increased from Rs 23 crore in 2021-22 to Rs 65.47 crore in 2025-26, registering an increase of more than two-and-a-half times. Ladakh's allocation rose from Rs 3.90 crore to Rs 5.16 crore during the same period.
For J&K, the allocation stood at Rs 23 crore in 2021-22, Rs 23.64 crore in 2022-23, Rs 26 crore in 2023-24, Rs 35.33 crore in 2024-25 and Rs 65.47 crore in 2025-26. Ladakh received Rs 3.90 crore, Rs 4.10 crore...
