Jammu Tawi, May 23 -- For the first time, the BJP unit of the Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Union Territory (UT) has decided to celebrate the Man Ki Baat being addressed by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi later this month, as also the birthday of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and the International Yoga Day at each booth of this UT.
This decision in this regard was taken by the J&K BJP on the directions of party high command. A high level meeting in this regard was held today evening at BJP head office, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
There are a little over 10,000 polling booths in the J&K UT and BJP has geared up its cadre for these celebrations in a mega way to send a strong message of nationalism as also to reach out to the people at grass roots level.
