India, Sept. 23 -- Two police personnel were found dead under suspicious circumstances inside a car in Ramban district late Tuesday evening, official sources said.

Head Constable Farid Ahmed and Selection Grade Constable Muhammad Yaqoob, both posted at District Police Lines, Ramban, were found unconscious inside a car parked at Ziarat Morh in the Sana area of Batote, the sources said.

After noticing the duo in an unconscious state, local residents shifted them to District Hospital Ramban, where doctors declared both of them brought dead.

The exact circumstances surrounding their deaths and the cause of death were not immediately known.
