JAMMU, April 12 -- A massive search operation was launched in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir after suspicious movement of two unidentified persons was reported near the International Border, officials said on Sunday.

The joint operation, involving police, the Indian Army and the Border Security Force, is underway in Pangdour, SIDCO forest and adjoining areas, including Basantar Nallah.

According to officials, a caretaker at an animal farm spotted two suspected individuals in Pangdour around 8.30 pm on Saturday, prompting immediate action by security forces. However, the suspects could not be traced initially.
