India, April 2 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday ordered a major reshuffle in the police administration, transferring and posting 82 officers, including 34 IPS and 48 JKPS officers.
Among the key transfers are DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range Sarah Rizvi, and DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range Tejinder Singh.
The reshuffle is part of an administrative exercise aimed at streamlining police functioning and strengthening field-level operations across the Union Territory.
