SRINAGAR, April 16 -- Police have busted a drug racket in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district, arresting six peddlers and recovering over 13 kg of charas along with a small quantity of heroin, officials said on Thursday.

The action followed multiple operations carried out across south Kashmir's Anantnag district, leading to the registration of five cases and seizure of significant quantities of contraband, a police spokesperson said.

Acting on specific inputs, a team from Police Station Srigufwara raided the residence of Nisar Ahmad Nadaf in Dachigam Srigufwara and recovered around 2 kg of charas-like substance.
