PANAJI, Sept. 7 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said the Narendra Modi government has prepared a roadmap to make India drug-free by 2029, asserting that drug-free youth power will play a crucial role in realising the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Addressing a press conference after chairing a high-level meeting on narcotics in Goa, Shah said the Centre has adopted a coordinated, nationwide strategy to dismantle the entire narcotics network, covering drug trafficking, financing, supply chains, addiction prevention and rehabilitation.
