JAMMU TAWI, Jul 30: Jammu and Kashmir will witness a complete suspension of traffic on the strategic Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) on Friday as authorities undertake critical restoration and slope stabilisation works on vulnerable stretches damaged by persistent rainfall, while the Meteorological Department has forecast continued wet weather across the Union Territory till August 7 with warnings of heavy rain, flash floods and landslides.
