Jammu, Aug. 5 -- It is necessary that people act responsibly and stay safe during the upcoming spell of heavy rain, as the India Meteorological Department has forecast widespread rainfall over large parts of northwest India, including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Uttarakhand in the coming days.
Jammu & Kashmir has already witnessed a large number of cloudbursts and landslides during this monsoon.
