Jammu Tawi, Aug. 11 -- Jammu and Kashmir is likely to receive widespread rain and thundershowers over the next few days, with the Weather Department forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of the Jammu division on Tuesday August 11.
The Meteorological Centre, Srinagar, said the wet spell is expected to intensify tomorrow, when heavy to very heavy rain could occur at a few places in Jammu, while some areas of Kashmir may experience short-duration intense showers.
According to the forecast, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely at most places across Jammu and Kashmir till August 11, with the highest activity expected during the day and night of August 11.
