Jammu, July 31 -- Centre restructures MoHUA to boost governance & efficiency

In a significant administrative overhaul, the Central Government has divided the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) into two dedicated departments aimed at improving how urban India is governed and administered. The announcement came from Union Minister Manohar Lal at a meeting of the Parliamentary Consultative Committee on Urban Planning.
