Srinagar, Sept. 9 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday cancelled its order posting a Jammu & Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officer in the Assembly Secretariat.
In a fresh directive, the General Administration Department (GAD) revoked Government Order No. 1415-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated August 19, which had transferred and posted Bilal Ahmad Mir, JKAS, Sub-Registrar Khansahib/Budgam, as Deputy Secretary in the J&K Legislative Assembly. "It is hereby ordered that Government Order No. 1415-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated 19.08.2026 shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab initio," reads the order.
