JAMMU TAWI, May 26 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered the regularisation and promotion of 17 In-charge Information Officers and Assistant Information Officers as Information Officers and equivalent in the Information Department.
According to Government Order No. 17-JK(ID) of 2026 dated May 25, 2026, issued by the Information Department, the promoted officers have been placed in Pay Level-8 (Rs.47,600-1,51,100).
