Replying to a question in the Legislative Assembly tabled by MLA Chadoora Ali Mohammad Dar, the government, as reported by the news agency, said that earlier District Development Plans were deliberated and approved by District Development Boards in accordance with budget ceilings conveyed by the Planning Department.
It, however, said that post-2019, the allocation of budget and all related matters have been transferred from the Planning Department to the Finance Department.
