JAMMU Tawi, Aug. 7 -- The Transport Department of the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) has approved the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the effective implementation of the Inter-state Transport Agreement between the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the Union Territory of Ladakh.
According to Government Order No. 65-JK(TR), issued by the Civil Secretariat of the Transport Department, the SOP has been introduced to ensure the smooth, transparent, and efficient implementation of the procedures related to the counter signature of the vehicle permits and other associated formalities for vehicles operating between the two Union Territories (UTs).
