JAMMU Tawi, July 14 -- For the first time since its operation, Jammu region's premier hospital, the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) will now have two hundred and fifty (250) MBBS seats as the permission for this enhancement in medical seats has been granted by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Earlier, the GMC-Jammu had 180 MBBS seats. The National Medical Commission (NMC) gave permission for enhancement of 20 seats last year thus taking the total number of MBBS seats at GMC-Jammu to 200.
Following this, the GMC-Jammu authorities applied for permission of granting more MBBS seats.
