Jammu Tawi, June 7 -- Minister for Transport, Youth Services & Sports, Satish Sharma on Saturday said that although the Union Territory presently has adequate LPG stocks, but rising geopolitical tensions and global uncertainty could impact fuel supply chains and markets in the coming days.
Talking to reporters here, Minister Sharma said the government is keeping a close watch on the situation and assured the public that there is no immediate shortage of LPG.
"We currently have sufficient LPG stocks, but we must not ignore the fact that global conditions are not good. Geopolitical tensions will have an impact," the Minister said.
